Movies to Watch Out For

As you all know, I follow movies quite closely (mainstream that is, I have yet to fully explore the Indie film industry) and I make it a point to spend my hard-earned money only on good quality movies. Here’s what I’m looking forward to in 2010:
a) Beastly – a modern retelling of Beauty and the Beast starring Vanessa Hudgens
b) Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time – based on the highly popular video game, starring Jake Gyllenhaal
c) The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader – Liam Neeson comes back as Aslan’s voice. This is the make or break sequel – Disney dropped the franchise after the disappointing performace of Prince Caspian at the box office, but luckily, Fox picked it up. Now, if this movie rakes in good money, we might get to see the rest of the books on film. If not, well, you know what that would mean.
d) Shrek Forever After
e) Sex and the CIty 2
f) Rapunzel – from Disney, with Mandy Moore as the voice of Rapunzel
g) Alice in Wonderland – from Tim Burton, starring Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter,Mia Wasikowska as Alice plus Helena Bonham Carter, Anne Hathaway. March 2010.
h) Inception – a thriller directed by Christopher Nolan (The Dark Knight), this one stars Leo diCaprio as a businessman being blackmailed by Ken Watanabe.
i) The A Team – based on the 80’s hit action series, starring Liam Neeson, Jessica Biel and Patrick Wilson
j) Toy Story 3
k) Date Night- Steve Carrell and Tina Fey as a married couple out on a night
l) Robin Hood – starring Russell Crowe as Robin and Cate Blanchett as Maid Marian. Directed by Ridley Scott.
m) Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part I
n) Iron Man 2
