I’m a largely uninteresting person, at least to my mind. But as with any blogger out there, I have narcissistic tendencies that need to be fed, hence the blog. But in case you do find my sometimes insanity-driven ravings mildly up your alley, thank you.
Now, before I get too off topic, which you’ll find happens frequently, let me tell you about me. I wear several hats, changing multiple times during the 24-hours of a day, sometimes adding and discarding hats, and often wearing several all at the same time. I’m a corporate slave 12-14 hours a day, a mom and wife 24 hours a day, a daughter and a sister, and a friend. Sometimes, I like to dabble in writing and still dream of one day publishing an award-winning novel or collection of essays, or short stories, or poems. I used to dream of being a singer (until a chronic case of recurring pharyngitis and throat problems dashed hopes of pursuing that, although I still hoard the microphone at videoke sessions) and an actress (but my parents and relatives didn’t think I’m pretty enough to be one; although my lola practically declared me the prettiest creature alive – I guess I am her favorite apo, after all?).
I don’t blog as often as I would like, mainly because like I said, I’m a corporate slave. All my creative juices are drained drafting long emails and having even longer debates over the phone and I just want to flop down on my bed, or cuddle with my two little boys (if by some stroke of luck they’re still awake) when I trudge home close to midnight. I used to think I’d blog my OOTDs but then I realized I’m quite the shy type.
I still hoard clothes and shoes in the hope that one day, I will get to post OOTDs regularly.
Anyway, thanks for dropping by. Here’s to a hopefully long and prosperous cyber-friendship!
